Summer holidays

In the summer in our Glemmtal chalets in Viehhofen you'll find rest, relaxation and a number of fantastic hiking trails and bike tours in the highest grassy mountains in Europe. There are cultural and sports activities, worthwhile excursion destinations and traditional farmer's autumnal events (“Bauernherbst) that ensure a diverse holiday time. Kaprun, with its numerous attractions such as the "Tauern Spa", the summer tobogganing run "Maisiflitzer" and the glacier is only a few minutes away.

Winter holidays

Thanks to the fantastic location of our chalets, you are only a few minutes to the entrance of the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn and the Schmittenhöhe, and you can ski right back to the house if there is enough snow. Nordic skiers, winter hiking and snow shoeing fans as well as ski tourers can also enjoy the fresh mountain air. In poor weather, visit the Tauern Spa Kaprun, a fantastic spa complex, only 20 minutes away by car.

New valley, new happiness

The new zellamseeXpress links the Schmittenhöhe with the Glemmtal valley. In Viehhofen, a modern entrance to the ski area awaits skiers with parking, bus connections, a sports shop, cash desk and information centre. The 10 monocable gondola detachable zellamseeXpress will take 2800 skiers per hour quickly and comfortably to the mountain.
